Sensory Activities to use this pretend mud

Edible mud can be used for a play kitchen as opposed to playing food, you can use it in a construction vehicle site or even a farm sensory bin for the pigs to sit in.

Here are a few ideas we have done at home.

Recommended: What is a mud kitchen and why do I need one?

Pigs in Mud – pretend mud Sensory Bin

We loved to create a mud kitchen playtime with this pretend mud but then later on I found out the pigs and we did a small farm sensory bin with them.

Muddy Construction Site

What toddler boy is not obsessed with construction vehicles? set up a construction site using this recipe and ommit the water. Give them the water in a separate bowl and let them do the mixing. Manu spent about 45 minutes playing with this setup. It was a definitely win and one we have repeated often ever since.

To set up a construction site sensory bin activity all you need is to add some rocks, logs, wood pieces, and of course, construction vehicles, and your edible mud recipe (pretend mud). Everything else the imagination will take care of!
