Microwave Playdough Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of salt
- 1 Tablespoon of cream of tartar
- food coloring

Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of salt
- 1 Tablespoon of cream of tartar
- food coloring
Instructions
- Pour all dry ingredients, flour, salt, and cream of tartar together into a microwave heatproof bowl.
- Add water to dry ingredients.
- Add food coloring (8-12 drops) the more food coloring the stronger the color you will achieve
- Mix together using a whisk to remove lumps and blend the ingredients well.
- Cover using a microwave cover or paper towel and place the bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes on high.
- Remove bowl from microwave and stir with a wooden spoon.
- Place in the microwave fir another 30 seconds.
- Remove bowl from microwave and stir to combine using the wooden spoon.
- Sprinkle about 1/4 cup of flour into a wooden board.
- Once the playdough is no longer sticking to the bowl, place it over a cutting board or tray and knead it into a roll to blend in all ingredients well and the flour from the tray.
- Be careful the play dough will be very hot!
- If the playdough is still sticky sprinkle more flour and knead it more.
- Allow the playdough to cool before giving it to your child to play with.
- For longer shelf-time store the playdough in a plastic zip-lock bag or airtight container.
