✨ A simple song that turns into learning through play
Five Little Ducks is one of those songs that toddlers naturally love —
and when you pair it with water play, it becomes a full learning experience.
This is an easy activity you can repeat again and again… and each time, your child learns more.
🧺 What You Need
- Small rubber ducks (or any floating toys)
- A bin with water
- Optional: blue food coloring
🎶 Setup & Play
Fill a bin with water and add your ducks.
Sit with your child and begin singing:
“Five little ducks went out one day…”
As you sing:
- Move the ducks in the water
- Remove one duck each time
- Bring them all back at the end
💡 Let your child explore freely — splashing, grabbing, and moving the ducks.
