- 1 VOSS bottle (or similar clear plastic bottle)
- 15 colored straws
- 1/4 cup colored rice
How to Make a Rain Stick (Step-by-Step)
- Empty the VOSS water bottle and allow it to dry completely.
- Cut the straws into different lengths.
- Add the straw pieces into the bottle, one color at a time.
- Layer as many colors as you’d like to create a visual pattern.
- Add 1/4 cup of colored rice, leaving space so the rice can move freely.
- Secure the lid with super glue to prevent spills and ensure safety.
- Gently shake the bottle to distribute the rice.
- Slowly turn the bottle upside down and listen as the “rain” falls.
