Making edible sensory edible sand play is so much for babies and toddlers who still mouth everything.
this week in class we brought edible sand for the kids to play with. We had a moon theme class but this also works for summer theme entry bins.
to make this easy recipe you only need one ingredient and a blender. We added some moon rock sand to our sensory bin using crushed Oreos to make it more fun, but that part is totally optional.
HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE EDIBLE SAND
Ingredients
- One box of saltine crackers
- A blender
Instructions
- This really is the easiest recipe ever. Add a few saltine crackers at a time to the blender and blend until it’s powdered
- You can do the same with some Oreos to add some moon-rock sand if you are doing a space themed
