This color activity combines music, finger play, and repetition to support color recognition while also strengthening fine motor skills and coordination — all through play.
🍂 What You Need:
- Finger Puppets printable color-fingers-puppet
- Scissors
- Tape
- A screen or speaker to play the song
🌿 Setup & Play:
Cut out each finger puppet from the printable. Wrap the bottom section around your finger and secure the sides with tape to fit comfortably.
Play the color song and sing along together. As each color appears in the song, lift the matching finger puppet and name the color out loud. Encourage your child to watch, touch, and move along with the music.
There’s no need to perform the song perfectly. Repetition, movement, and exposure are what matter most.
