I love playing with colored rice, what I love even more is to add a fragrance to enhance the senses. An easy and affordable way to do this is using baking essence oils to do this.
I usually making lemon-scented rice with essential oils, but when I didn’t have this in hand, I used baking essence instead. It gave a strong smell and it lasted for a really long time.
We made is rice for out Tot School: Yellow Week and it was so much fun!
At the supermarket you can find different scents, use them to make different types of scented-rice like:
- Vanilla
- Coconut
- Lemon (what we will use today!)
