✨ A simple way to bring books to life

🧺 What You Need
- A toy car with large wheels (important!)
- Washable paint
- Paper or cardboard
- Optional: yogurt paint for a taste-safe option
🎨 Setup & Play
Find a car that has wheels big enough so when your child holds it, their hands don’t touch the paper.
Add a few spots of paint onto the paper and invite your child to explore.
Show them how to roll the car through the paint and across the page.
💡 As you play, sing:
“The wheels on the bus go round and round…”
This is how I introduce the activity in class —
I slowly roll the car through the paint while singing, and they naturally begin to imitate.

💡 Tips for Success
- Keep it simple — just a few paint spots is enough
- Let them explore freely (no need to “paint correctly”)

- Use different cars to compare tracks
