Fine motor activity using tape – Sensory Activity for babies

Entertaining a baby all day is hard. Use this easy setup to entertain your baby and work on fine motor skills while you cook or simply when you need a quick mom win.

This activity is perfect to set up while you cook dinner as well as for your baby to work on fine motor skills.

Materials needed:

• Painters tape
• Bath toys
• Muffin Tin

Directions

Place the bath toys in each section of the muffin tin. This is where you can get very creative into what theme or toys you put inside.

Step 2

Place tape over each of the sections and hand it over to the baby.

Allow for baby to use her fingers to remove each of the tapes out and rescue the toy.

Sensory play is anything that engages the senses. This cognitive activity is easy to set up, mess-free, and engages your child.
