How to make a rainstick without nails in less than 5 minutes

Rain sticks produce the soothing sounds of rain falling, a calming sound that puts people at ease. Rain sticks are also used as musical instruments, if you shake them to the rhythm of the music you can have an awesome maraca.

To make this DIY rain stick you will need:

  • A VOSS bottle (or similar)
  • 15 colored straws
  • 1/4 cup of colored garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 cup of colored rice
